January 23, 2012

The last four days have been a blast! Starting last Thursday night at the School of Hard Knocks in San Bernardino with Ted Dibiase running a Professional Wrestling Clinic in front of a great turnout of students made everyone realize that what they learned from Ted they pretty much had heard it from me. Sometimes everyone forgets that guys lie Ted and myself are from the Old School of Wrestling. We have the same  knowledge that we share with anyone willing to listen. It's just that the young talent need to hear it being said by someone else.

Friday night we had the pleasure of setting up the ring at Echoes of Faith Church Christian Center in Ontario Ca. As a favor to Ted Dibiase and pastor Jim Willoughby the EWF shared 4 exciting matches as part of the program before Ted presented his testimony to the attendance that included many wrestling fans.

Saturday Night was another exciting night of EWF wrestling action at our new San Bernardino venue located at 217 E. Club Center Dr. South side of San Bernardino. EWF presented 7 exciting matches in the presence of the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase who made himself available to take pictures with our wrestling fans with plenty of merchandize and his million Dollar title in hand.

Sunday morning Ted Dibiase was take to his next destination in Wilmington Ca. to once again share his testimony during Sunday morning service. Ted's work is far from being over as he continues his travels where he will continue to shares his life in hope someone's life may change. On certain trips his wife also shares her testimony as well, as Ted and his wile Melanie are scheduled to speak in New Orleans next week.

Overall it was a very exciting week for myself our students and our wrestlers and staff that we will remember for a long time. I would like to thank every single member of our EWF team who helped make everything run smoothly during Ted's involvement with the School of Hard knocks and the Empire Wrestling Federation.

I'm very proud of our new venue in San Bernardino that has potential for growth, and that we will do our best to make that happen in the near future. I'm very happy and proud of the road we are taking to make EWF a strong promotion. The work ethics from everyone guarantees a strong future for the EWF Special thanks to Ted Dibiase, Jake Alexander, Ringscoops.com Crew Frank Mott, and everyone who worked the events this weekend. Thank you all for your hard work.
Sincerely,
Jesse Hernandez

Results-Empire Wrestling Federation- San Bernardino, CA

Hello sports fans!  EWF correspondent Brandi Mendez coming to you with the action-packed results from our Jan. 21st show in San Bernardino, at Club Center Events.  With EWF’s debut show at this arena, the house was packed and fans were in delighted to hear that WWE Hall of Famer “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase was on hand to partake in the night’s festivities, complete with a meet/greet and photo spots for the fans to enjoy.  Along with our beloved loving legend on hand, the EWF wrestlers didn’t disappoint our packed house.  So without further adieu, let’s get to the results!

Match #1: Dave the Bruiser DEF Chowder

Despite Chowder’s efforts against the veteran, Bruiser’s intense punishment (and a little distraction from Crystal Michelle) reigned supreme as one of the EWF’s favorite Bar Room Saints was defeated.

Match #2: Flecha Fugaz DEF Valiant

Spain’s favorite son Valiant took on his fierce competitor in a well-fought match that ended with Fugaz as the victor with his debilitating finish, and grasping the three-count.

Match #3: Vintage Dragon DEF “The Rattle from Seattle” Eddie Mattson

Mattson took on his adversary in a hard-fought battle that left Vintage Dragon the winner at the end of the bout.

Match #4: The A-List (“The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz & “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger) DEF LA FAMILIA (“Raunchy” Rico Dynamite & Damien Arsenick) for the EWF Tag Team Championships.

This intense and bitter rivalry came to a head with The A-List and LA FAMILIA.  The defending EWF tag-team champions almost didn’t defend the titles as they were refusing to compete in San Bernardino, in front of the EWF fans.  Once announced that LA FAMILIA would lose the titles if they didn’t return, they sprinted back to the ring, where Ruiz and Jaeger were eager for the bell to ring.  Once started, The A-list pulled out all of the stops in their mission to not only reign supreme over their bitter enemies, but to take the gold that wrapped around the waists of Dynamite and Arsenick.  From the underhanded tactics Dynamite and Arsenick are notorious for to Jaeger and Ruiz’s non-stop offense “Top Shelf” and “The Overnight Celebrity” landed their Hollywood-style ending by pinning their opponents and capturing the EWF Tag Team Championships!

Match #5: Sugar Sweetz DEF “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar

EWF newcomer Sweetz took on Dunbar in an intense battle that had EWF fans at the edge of their seats.  Despite a tremendous battle, Sweetz came out victorious over the Saint.

Match #6: “The Certified Tough Guy” Brandon Gatson DEF Willie Mack

Brandon Gatson’s aggression and turn against the EWF fans was merciless as he took on “Milk Chocolate” Willie Mack.  Both wrestlers were fantastic in their offenses against one another; however it was Gatson’s determination that reigned supreme over Mack as he took the victory, and didn’t take a second look back at his former ally.

Match #7: The Iron Cowboys (“Iron Man” Mike Maze & “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr) DEF The Mega Kingdom (“Mega King” Tommy Wilson & Freddy Bravo) in a “No Rules” Match.

EWF Champion “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr and EWF American Champion “Iron Man” Mike Maze took on “Mega King” Tommy Wilson and his “Secretary of Defense” Freddy Bravo in a “No Rules” Match.  Literally pulling out all the stops (including a road sign), the EWF Champions took out The Mega Kingdom in which had everyone of the EWF out of their seats and mesmerized as Starr and Maze landed their finishers for the win.

There you have it ladies and gents; this truly was a “Million Dollar” show that fans won’t soon forget!  With the second show of 2012 under EWF’s belt, our incredible momentum continues to build! A huge thank-you goes out to WWE Hall of Famer “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase for coming out to San Bernardino and partaking with the EWF.  Make sure to check us out when we return to Covina, at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Feb. 3.  Until then, I Brandi Mendez am signing off.  See you inside the ropes!

EWF-RESULTS-JANUARY 6, 2012-KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL, COVINA

Report by Wade Needham of RingScoops.com

The Empire Wrestling Federation returned to the Knights of Columbus Hall on Friday January 6th with 7 super matches!  Here are the results from the event:

- Valiant vs Stryder went to a no contest when Brandon Gatson took both men out.

Gatson explained his actions, where he turned his back on EWF champion Johnny Starr, saying the fans turned their back on Gatson during his match with Country Bear in November.

- Sugar Sweet defeated Mexican Warrior in his EWF debut match.  Sugar Sweet finished off Mexican Warrior with his finisher the Sweet Spot.

- Eddie Mattson defeated Chowder in an action packed match.  Chowder fell victim to the "Rattle from Seattle" and his Venom Flow.

- La Familia retained their EWF Tag Team Championship againt the A-List in a "no contest".  The title match turned into a 6 man brawl featuring all members of both factions.  A no disqualification title rematch was signed for January 21st when the EWF returns to San Bernardino!

- "Ironman" Mike Maze successfully defended his EWF American Championship against "The Mega Kingdom's Secretary of Defense" Freddy Bravo.

- "Project 56" Josh Dunbar came out as the winner against the original Mr. Wonderful Rock Riddle.  After the match, Rock Riddle applied a choke on Dunbar which prompted "Irish Icon" DK Murphy to come out for the rescue.

- The main event saw EWF Champion "Handsome" Johnny Starr retain his title against "Mega King" Tommy Wilson.  This match had it all.  From Gatson doing commentary and distracting Wilson, to Ashley & Nikki Hollywood having cat fight.

Without a doubt the fans went home happy with a fun filled evening of family friendly pro wrestling like only the EWF can deliver!  See you all on Saturday January 21st in San Bernardino!  Don't forget, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase will be at the next event!

2012 marks the EWF's 16th year of operation! Others can say what they want but the EWF has been at it in Southern California longer than most. This year Jesse Hernandez and company promise nothing less then spectacular!

The biggest question on the lips of everyone associated with the EWF is "Why Gatson why?" Everyone wants to know why he broke character and kicked EWF Champion Johnny Starr all the way into a loss at the hands of the Mega King. Here Gatson sheds a little light on that reason, or does he.

SoCal Crazy sends a message to "Ironman" Mike Maze about their match on 1/6/12 in Covina!

"After super kicking Handsome Johnny Starr into defeat on December 9th Brandon Gatson will be in Covina, CA with an explanation for his actions."

Hello ladies and gents, and welcome back!  I am Brandi Mendez, Empire Wrestling Federation’s correspondent, bringing you the latest action-packed results from our Toy Drive benefit, involving 5 battle royal matches with 40 of your favorite EWF wrestlers, on Dec. 9th in Covina’s Knights of Columbus Hall.  So, let’s get to them.

Match #1:

Mega Kingdom: “Mega King” Tommy Wilson, Freddy Bravo, Stryder, Crystal Michelle & Nick Lovin’
DEF.
Hearts on Fire: Cyanide, Vintage Dragon, Jarek Matthews, Mexican Warrior & Nikki Hollywood

In the opening competition, EWF saw the return of fan-favorite Jarek Matthews.  The enthusiastic “Hearts on Fire” team made an amazing effort by executing big eliminations from the “Mega Kingdom,” like with Hollywood taking out Michelle, only later in the match to be power bombed by Wilson.  The “Mega Kingdom” won the match with Wilson making the last elimination, and sending his highness to the main event of the night.

Match #2:

Rock’s Riddle: Rock Riddle, Killa Gorilla, Dave the Bruiser, Ein Idol & Maddix
DEF.

The Good Ole’ Boys: “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar, Chowder, “The Irish Icon” D.K. Murphy, Transformer Boy & Vizzion

Fan-favorite Vizzion also made a triumphant return, with the “Good Ole’ Boys.” The match began with intense aggression, especially from the Bar Room Saints leading the pack.  Although the EWF fans were ecstatic to see Vizzion eliminate wrestling legend, the original “Mr. Wonderful” Rock Riddle, Dave the Bruiser came in behind the former EWF Champion to eliminate the final “Good Ole Boy,” enabling Bruiser and Idol the last ones standing from their team, and in the main event.

Match #3:

Johnny’s All-Stars: “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr, “Iron Man” Mike Maze, So-Cal Crazy, “Certified Tough Guy” Brandon Gatson, & Valiant
DEF.

Mike’s Mountain: “Mighty” Mike Mountain, “King of the Streets” Mondo Vega, “The Anti-Hero” Ryan Taylor, “The Rattle from Seattle” Eddie Mattson & “The 400lb. Definition of Pain” Terex

Old rivalries were ignited once again as some of the top wrestlers on EWF’s roster came out to take on their and the EWF fans most hated men.  “The 400lb. Definition of Pain” Terex made the first elimination by taking out rookie “Valiant.”  The pace picked up tremendously while Gatson took on Starr took on the Fallen Empire and made a double elimination, leaving Crazy to take out Mountain and Mattson, leaving Terex.  Maze took the honors of taking out his 15th Anniversary show opponent.  With his signature flying elbow and a double-cover, Maze and Starr eliminated Terex, leaving both champions and Gatson advancing to the main event of the night.

Match #4:

La Familia: “Raunchy” Rico Dynamite, Damien Arsenick, Robby Phoenix, Tito Escondito & Pinky Santino
DEF.
The A-Team: “The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz, “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger, Liger Rivera, Scorpio Sky & Willie Mack

In this epic match the “A-Team” pulled out all the stops when taking on the bad boys in the back, “La Familia.”  With the new additions of Tito Escondido and Pinky were victorious with their usual under-handed tactics.  Reigning over supreme EWF’s beloved “A-Team,” and taking out all their members, Phoenix and Arsenick eliminated Scorpio Sky for the win, and sending themselves into the final battle royal.

Match #5:

“Raunchy” Rico Dynamite, Robby Phoenix, Damien Arsenick, Dave the Bruiser, Ein Idol, “Mega King” Tommy Wilson & Freddy Bravo
DEF.
“The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr, “Certified Tough Guy” Brandon Gatson, “Iron Man” Mike Maze & So-Cal Crazy

In a surprising turn events, the main event didn’t disappoint in intensity and action.  Starr, Maze, Gatson and Crazy dominated the first part of the competition.  The momentum continued when Maze successfully eliminated Arsenick, leaving Wilson as the sole survivor on his team.  After entering the squared circle, Wilson took out the EWF American Champion.  After Maze was eliminated by Wilson, EWF Heavyweight Champion Starr stepped into take on the “Mega King,” only to be super kicked by Gatson in the face.  With the assist by Gatson, Wilson eliminated Starr and won the final battle royal.

The questions remain; What’s going to happen now?  Was Gatson aiming for Starr?  What’s going to happen with Wilson in January?  Well everyone, we’re going to have to wait until January 6th when your EWF stars return to the Knights of Columbus Hall.  Don’t forget to check out our second Toy Drive Benefit, Dec. 17th at the American Sports University, in San Bernardino at 5pm!

Until then sports fan, This is Brandi Mendez signing off.  Until next time, see you inside the ropes!

Hello sports fan!  EWF Correspondent Brandi Mendez once again coming back with the action-packed results from our Sept 23rd show in Covina at the Knights of Columbus Hall  So, let’s get to them!

Match#1: Dave the Bruiser DEF Danny Ghost

Though fought with a valiant effort by Ghost, Bruiser (with the distraction from his manager Crystal Michelle) capitalized on Ghost’s inexperience and pinned him for the victory.

Match #2: Willie Mack DEF Maddix

Making his Covina debut, Maddix put on a fierce effort against the EWF fan favorite, Mack.  However it was Mack’s aerial style and ring expertise that gave him the upper hand on the “Sultan of Sweat,” and won him the match.

Match #3: “Iron Man” Mike Maze DEF Mighty Mike Mountain to retain the American Championship

Off to an aggressive start, Mountain bum rushed Maze from behind.  Mountain was dominating against Maze when the former American Champion was able to turn the odds in his favor when he catapulted Mountain from the top rope.  With one flying elbow, Maze secured the three-count and retained his American Championship.

Match #4: Robby Phoenix DEF “The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz

Bad blood and fierce competition set this match off between the two adversaries.  At the beginning, Ruiz’s aggressive tactics left Phoenix out of the ring and scrambling for a defense against the A-Lister. Soon after, however, Phoenix was able to take control of the match.  Though Ruiz put on an amazing effort, Robby took over and with his Rising Phoenix, rose to victory.

 -Shaun Ricker/Johnny Starr Confrontation-

As the newly crowned EWF Champion Shaun Ricker made his way to the ring with a sack of potatoes and gravy to make a celebratory meal, his opponent “Handsome” Johnny Starr, met him in the ring and offered to fight Ricker right then and there for the EWF Championship.  A fight ensued soon after and the challenge by Starr was accepted.

Match #5: “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr DEF Shaun Ricker for the EWF Championship

Starr and Ricker had an intense bout that left them both spent and restless as they aggressively took one another to their personal limits.  However, it was Starr’s quick wit and faster strategy that landed him the win over Ricker to begin his second reign as EWF Champion.

Match #6: “Raunchy” Rico Dynamite and Damien Arsnick DEF Los Luchas for the EWF Tag Team Championships

Not surprisingly the new EWF bad boys double-teamed the reigning champions at the start of the match. However, the aerial maneuvers that Los Luchas are notable for kicked into high gear and they went straight for their opponents. Though Los Luchas gave Dynamite and Arsenick an impressive and aggressive run for their money, Los Luchas could not out wit their opponents.  With sneaky tactics in full form, Dynamite and Arsenick captured the EWF Tag Team Championships with the one-two-three.

Match #7: Brandon Gatson DEF “Mega King” Tommy Wilson in a Last Man Standing Match

This year long rivalry came to a final resolution as Gatson got the last say in the “Mega King’s” reign of dominance over him.  From distractions by the “Mega Queen” Ashley Hollywood to the interference made from Wilson’s loyal servant Freddie Bravo, Gatson was able to leave destruction and carnage behind him in the ring.  After landing a phenomenal stunner, Gatson sent Wilson flying into a ladder, which laid the “Mega King” out for the count, and Gatson as the winner.

NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to the new EWF Tag Team Champs, Raunchy Rico and Damian Arsnik who defeated Los Luchas. Will their reign last or will it be short-lived as they face the Fallen Empire (Ryan Taylor and Mondo Vega) at the next EWF Covina show on October 14th.

RESULTS-KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, COVINA, CA

Friday September 2, 2011

Hello ladies and gentlemen!  This is EWF Correspondent Brandi Mendez bringing you the results from our latest hard-hitting and action-packed show,  So let’s get right to them!

Match #1: Espiritu Infernal DEF “The Rattle from Seattle” Eddie Mattson

Mattson was aggressive and fierce as he took on the high-flying fan favorite.  However, it was Infernal’s clever aerial offense that gave him the advantage, as he landed onto Mattson for the three-count.

Match #2:  “Iron Man” Mike Maze DEF Devin Sparks

EWF newcomer Sparks took on the American Champion in an intense competition.  With merciless punishment to Maze, it appeared as though the “Iron Man” would fold under Sparks’ tactics.  The tables then turned as Maze countered his opponent, and with a flying elbow, which enabled him to earn the hard fought victory.

Match #3:  The 400lb. “Definition of Pain” Terex DEF Vizzion

In this grudge match, Terex showed no mercy as he took on the EWF fan favorite.  At one point in the match Vizzion seemed to grasp the upper hand, as he moved out of Terex’s way as Terex flopped onto the canvas after a  monstrous splash.  After that, Vizzion’s momentum began to build as he took to the top rope, only to be met by Terex’s fist of fury at the bottom.  As Vizzion recovered, he went back to the top rope, only to be accidentally knocked off by Justin Borden, who was pushed by Terex.  After collapsing, Terex caught his opponent and slammed him onto the canvas.  Sealing Vizzion’s fate in the competition, Terex proceeded to decimate his adversary by back flipping himself onto Vizzion and securing the win.

-Brandon Gatson Returns-

Nikki Hollywood took to the ring as she was reminiscing about the Mega Wedding between Tommy Wilson and her sister Ashley, on Aug. 12.  Soon after, the new royal subject Freddy Bravo and Ein Idol with Dave the Bruiser called out Brandon Gatson and said that if he wanted to meet the Mega King in the ring, he needed to go through them.  Gatson then came out to meet the three stooges in the ring only to be brutally assaulted by them.  Fighting back the three, Gatson accepted the challenge for a handicap match.

Match #4: “Raunchy” Rico Dynamite and Damien Arsenick w/Robby Phoenix DEF “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger and “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar w/”The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz

With Ruiz sidelined due to injury, famous rivals Jaeger and Dunbar decided to put away their animosity for one another for the evening to take on some of their toughest enemies.  However, it was that same animosity between the two that ultimately did them in as they took on Arsenick and Dynamite.  Though off to a good start with aggressive offense, Jaeger and Dunbar’s lack of communication with one another started to wear thin on the team, and ended up enabling the team of Arsenick & Dynamite to gain the win.

Match #5: Brandon Gatson DEF Freddy Bravo and Ein Idol with Dave the Bruiser

After the bell rang, Bruiser was thrown out of the ring area by the referee.  Then Bravo and Idol brought the punishment to Gatson as they were relentless in their mission to get the upset over the EWF fan favorite.  As their confidence grew, Gatson’s offense became more savvy as he catapulted his opponents outside of the ring and then back flipped himself out and onto them.  Soon after getting back into the ring, Idol began taunting Gatson, only to be super-kicked in the face and put Bravo in a submission maneuver, making him tap-out in defeat.  Her highness, the Mega Queen Ashley Hollywood then came out to the ring and confronted the Lone Star State’s golden boy.  Narrowly escaping Gatson’s grasp, Hollywood fled the ringside area.

Match #6: Shaun Ricker DEF Ryan Taylor for the EWF Championship

The self proclaimed “best kept secret in wrestling” Ricker took on the “fallen hero” Taylor in an epic battle that left both men letting out everything they had in their arsenals, towards one another.  From the grappling maneuvers to the sneaky tactics that Taylor is known best for, the match was non-stop, and had every fan at the edge of their seats.  The advantage seemed to be in Taylor’s corner as he was ready to capitalize on Ricker and retain his championship. Taylor was then surprised by none other than “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr.  Starr ambushed Taylor from behind, allowing Ricker to get the three-count and capture his first EWF Championship.  Only seconds after gaining the title, Starr then took out Ricker and warned him that he was coming back for his revenge on Sept. 23 at the Knights of Columbus.

There you have it once again sports fans!  Another heart-stopping, epic night of action that will soon not be forgotten.  Make sure to check us out on Sept. 23 when we return back to the Knights of Columbus Hall in Covina, CA.  Until then, I’m Brandi Mendez signing off,  See you inside the ropes!

RESULTS-KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, COVINA, CA
AUGUST 12

Hello sports fans!  Brandi Mendez coming straight to you with Empire Wrestling Federation’s results following a blazing show  on August 12.  The summer night was set on fire with a historic show that had a royal wedding, a surprise return and a newly crowned champion, that left the EWF nation speechless.  So without further adieu, let’s get to the results!

Match#1: “Iron Man” Mike Maze DEF Liger Rivera

The opening contest for the American Championship was both brutal and intense.  Rivera and Maze put one another through ruthless punishment that left each competitor merciless towards their adversary.  Originally the winner of the contest, Maze defeated the former American Champion via a count-out.  Unsatisfied with the match result, Maze demanded that the match be restarted.  With the second bell, Rivera dished out increased tactics by executing a neck-breaker, pile driver and having his usual sneaky offense maneuvers to win.  However, Maze countered the A-Lister and with a high –flying elbow landed the victorious three-count.

Match #2: Vizzion DEF “The 400 lb. Definition of Pain” Terex

This blind-fold match started out as a blind waltz as each wrestler danced to each side of the ring.  After making initial contact, Terex body-slammed Vizzion and flopped as he then slammed himself onto a bare canvas.  Miss after miss, Terex’s blind frustration caused him to take off his blindfold, and then brutally attack Vizzion, causing a DQ in favor of the EWF favorite.

Match #3: “Mega King” Tommy Wilson & Ein Idol with Dave the Bruiser DEF SoCal Infernal (SoCal Crazy & Espiritu Internal)

During Wilson’s “Bachelor Party” tag match, both teams were relentless in their fight for victory.  Wilson’s repeated assaults on SoCal Crazy on the bottom rope were merciless.  After making the tag to Idol, he and Crazy were maneuvering around the ring until they crashed into one another, with each man in the middle of the canvas.  Crazy then took to the top rope and catapulted himself onto Idol and Bruiser, keeping Infernal in the ring, only to turn around and be super kicked by the “Mega King,” thus crowning the soon-to-be groom, and Idol the victors.

Match #4: “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger DEF Danny Ghost

“Top Shelf” locked up with the EWF rookie in an epic bout that left both competitors leaping off the canvas and having fans at the edge of their seats.  Though Ghost’s aerial offense was impressive, it was the experience of the veteran “A-Lister” that allowed Jaeger to counter the rookie and capture the victory.

The Mega King takes a Queen

Tommy Wilson & Ashley Hollywood Marry

Officiated by Matt Sinister, Wilson took his bride, the beautifully lethal Hollywood amid their closest friends and the EWF nation gagging outside the ring.  As the ceremony came to a close, Brandon Gatson’s music hit the airwaves and the Lonestar State hero stormed the ring.  Taking out every guest and having his sights on the “Mega King,” Gatson was taking out the likes of SCP Promoter Jeff Dino and Roger Ruiz while trying to get a hold of the newlyweds.  However, his attempt was failed as the royal couple escaped the wrath of the former EWF Champion.  Now that he has returned, stay tuned to see how Gatson will seek retribution on Wilson.

Match #5: “Raunchy” Rico Dynamite with Damien Arsenick DEF “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar with Bonnie Isle

The two opponents had an aggressive start as they wasted no time in their battle.  With an epic fight, Dunbar showed to have the upper-hand in the match, until Arsenick’s shady offense assisted Dynamite to secure the pin.  After the bell, Arsenick attacked the beautiful Bonnie Isle, having the other half of the Bar Room Saints, “Irish Icon” D.K. Murphy to come to her aid.  Shortly after getting onto the apron, Murphy was knocked down to the floor.  Within seconds of the Saints being taken out, the A-List’s Roger Ruiz, Liger Rivera and Jeremy Jaeger stormed the ring.  Saving Isle from harm and sending EWF’s new bad boys running to the back, but not before Ruiz issued a challenge to them for a match on September 2.  Stay tuned to see how this rivalry unfolds.

In his rematch for the EWF Championship, Taylor aggressively took on the EWF fan favorite in an intense matchup.  With every swinging kick and body slam, the EWF fans were at the edge of their seats waiting to see not only who the winner would be, but whether Ricker was going to call the match down the middle.  Not surprisingly, as Starr was about to close in on a victory, Ricker attacked the champion onto the canvas and enabled Taylor to pin his opponent and capture the EWF Championship for the second time.  What will happen on September 2 when Taylor and Ricker lock up in their match?  Will Starr get his retribution?  Only time will tell.

Well there you have it ladies and gents, another action-packed night filled with EWF greatness.  Be sure to check out the EWF as we come to Court Street Square in San Bernardino on August 27, for a free show and more history making action.  I am Brandi Mendez signing off and until next time, we’ll see you inside the ropes!

"The Last Lumberjack"
12 Wrestlers enter the ring and after ten minutes try to escape. Once both feet have touched the ground they become Lumberjacks, assisting or preventing exit for the remaining wrestlers. The Last Lumberjack is the loser of the match.

Hello there ladies and gentlemen, Brandi Mendez  here once again to report on the Empire Wrestling Federation’s hard hitting action from our home arena in Covina, CA at the Knights of Columbus Hall.  Without further adieu, let’s get to the results!

Match #1: Chris Kadillak and “Iron Man” Mike Maze DEF Mighty Mike Mountain and Freddy Bravo

The current EWF American Champion Maze teamed with the high flying and spectacular Kadillak in this high action tag-team match up against the green monster himself, Mountain and “All American” Bravo.  Though Bravo and Mountain gave relentless punishment to the EWF fan favorites, Kadillak and Maze came out the victors with a double pin.

Match #2: Ein Idol w/Dave the Bruiser DEF The Mexican Warrior

Sneaky tactics behind EWF official Justin Borden’s back were successful as Idol and Bruiser broke down Mexico’s favorite son, enabling Idol to land his devastating “Idolizer” and get the three-count.

Terex addresses EWF Nation and Vizzion

Stemming from the July 1 show and the assault the “400 lb. definition of pain” conducted onto Vizzion by spitting hot sauce into his eyes, Terex said that he wasn’t wrong for his actions but would help out the beloved wrestler help support his family by putting up a sign that he’d work for charity.  Vizzion then entered the arena with assistance, tricking Terex that he still couldn’t see from their previous match up.  After much taunting and antagonizing by the former EWF American Champion, Vizzion tapped Terex on the shoulder and went to blows with the monstrous villain.  After Terex hopped out of the ring, a challenge was issued for August 12 in a blind-fold match.  Jesse Hernandez then picked up a microphone and approved the match for the next Covina event.

Match #3: The Bar Room Saints (“The Irish Icon” D.K. Murphy, “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar and Chowder w/Bonnie Isle) DEF Robby Phoenix, Rico Dynamite and Damien Arsenick

The beloved Saints, accompanied by the beautiful Isle took on the new EWF bad boys and battled with their new partner, Chowder, whom after jumping out of a chest, defeated their adversaries with power and creative offensive tactics.

Match #4: Mikey Henderson DEF “The King of the Streets” Mondo Vega.

The former EWF champion defeated Vega in an intense and grueling match that landed Henderson the victory.

Match #5: "Mega King" Tommy Wilson DEF Danny Ghost

The EWF rookie gave the "Mega King" a definite run for his money in this high-flying match up.  But it was experience and the help of a super-kick that put Ghost's shoulders onto the mat, enabling Wilson to capture the three count.  After the match, Wilson summoned a box from the back for Ashley Hollywood.  Presenting her with a ring and a proposal to be the "Mega Queen," Hollywood accepted. The date for the big day is set for August 12.

Match #6: Johnny Starr DEF Shaun Ricker via Disqualification

In this epic battle the current EWF Champion was pulling out all of the stops in his attempt to defeat Ricker.  However, all of Starr's efforts came to a screeching halt after former EWF Champion Ryan Taylor stormed the ring and ambushed the "midnight cowboy."  Moments after the attack began, the bell was rung and the match ended in a DQ in Starr's favor.  Former WWE official, long time EWF supporter and now a new EWF Deputy Commissioner - Marty Elias (taking care of business in Commissioner Frank Mott's absence) entered the ring after Taylor demanded a re-match and said that he would indeed get that title shot on August 12 against Johnny Starr.  Only stipulation is that Shaun Ricker would be the special guest referee.  Stay tuned to see how this rivalry unfolds.

Make sure to catch us live once again as we return to Covina on August 12, bell time 8pm.  Until then, this is Brandi Mendez signing off and reminding you that we will see you next time, inside the ropes!

July 24, 2011

Training in pro wrestling includes learning holds, counter-holds and submissions. But at the School of Hard Knocks, we also train wrestlers in cutting television or in ring promos. We even do some theater. Athletic ability is good, athletic ability plus charisma and attitude is better. The best wrestler in the world will not succeed without skills on the mike and in front of a camera.

Recently several EWF wrestlers and crew members have been cast in or are working on new reality television series. Eddie Mattson, Mike Maze, Jay Stone, Brandi Mendez our reporter, and Brandon Gatson are working on The World Series of Blogging, a reality show where teams compete to get the most followers on the web.

EWF road agents and myself are consultants to non-wrestling television programs, giving us an opportunity to recommend EWF roster members and crew for both on camera and off camera roles in television. EWF has an especially close relationship with VMAS-TV and we hope to work with VMAS-TV and their outside production firms on many more projects in the future.

Other EWF wrestlers and crew are also being cast into the first reality series about the culture of Tequila.

Over the years, many School of Hard Knocks students have appeared on television both in wrestling and non-wrestling programs and movies. Many EWF roster members are regulars on NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, which is now distributed throughout the world on FilmOn IPTV service, as well as broadcast in Southern California at KDOC-TV, Channel 56.

Whether in the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s or now, wrestlers must be able to make the fans care about them by speaking to the audience on television and in the arenas. For anyone interested in training as a pro wrestler, you’ll also be learning skills that may see you in on television or in the movies.

Best of luck to all of the EWF and School of Hard Knocks students working in television. Special thanks to people such as Jeff Manning and Herb Kraft for believing in the EWF and not giving up on us. Thanks to Jake Alexander, the Hollywood Sisters along with Josh Austin and  Marty Elias for the Danger Zone episodes that help promote our events through YouTube and FaceBook. Another thanks go out to Matt Carroll who has put Hard Knocks episodes that are helping the younger talent that normally would not be getting any recognition as with his help they are developing great skills in front of a camera, showing a little of behind the scenes action of what goes on at the School of Hard Knocks. Without all your support EWF will not be where it's at or going to at this time. It's through the hard work of all these folks that has encouraged others to come in and want to be a part of the EWF Look for Kelly Lee to make a comeback on radio, this time with Ringscoops.com with Wade Needham and the D.A. on E.W.F. Internet radio which will be airing in August.

ADDENDUM added July 25: In my haste to get this current Jesse's Thoughts up on the website, I inadvertently neglected to thank a few more of the people who help make the EWF what it is today. These omissions were strictly an oversight. It happens and I apologize if anyone's feeling were hurt in any way. I'm sure there may be a few more inadvertent omissions. If this is the case, please email or call me so I can make sure you all get mentioned. So here we go.....

My lovely wife, Jennie (yup..I I forgot the most important one of all) who takes money at the door and pretty much keeps me on my toes; Wade and the gang from ringscoops.com; Strick and Lance who do a great job with photos..and I do mean a great job; Frank Mott, our Commissioner, Marty Elias who has given so much time to help everyone from referees to the wrestlers in improving their skills; All our SOHK students (way too many names to mention) who help with ring crew and filming and who, of course, bust their butts learning their craft in school 3-4 times a week, and of course my son Jesse who keeps his mom and me in line (if that is even possible). And perhaps the biggest thanks of all has to go to all the wrestlers, referees, valets, managers, announcers and other in ring crew. Without these folks, there would be no EWF.

Be sure to check out our new fan page message board and info exchange here.

Hey there ladies and gents!  This is Empire Wrestling Federation correspondent, Brandi Mendez back with the latest EWF results from our free event on Saturday, July 16th at Court St. Square in San Bernardino.  The summer sun was scorching as the EWF wrestlers set the ring a blaze and had everyone out of their seats.  So now, let’s get to the results!

Match #1: Ein Idol & Dave the Bruiser DEF J.P. Emerald & Luis Castillo
In the opening competition, the Hollywood Underground’s rock star Idol and bodyguard Bruiser defeated the School of Hard Knocks graduates.

Match #2: The Mexican Warrior DEF Stryder
The masked warrior took on the flamboyant Stryder in an intense match that had Mexico’s favorite son come out the victor.

Match #3: Eddie Mattson DEF Valiant
The “Rattle from Seattle” Mattson took on the Spanish Latin lover in an exhausting match that had both combatants spent at the end.  However, it was Mattson who came out with his hand raised in victory.

Match #4: Ashley Hollywood DEF Cotton Candy
The beautiful and lethal Hollywood sank her teeth into her opponent, as she took her out to gain the three-count.

Match #5: The Bar Room Saints (“Project 56” Joshua Dunbar & “The Irish Icon” D.K. Murphy) w/Danny Ghost DEF The A-List (“The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz & “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger) w/ “The 400lb. Definition of Pain” Terex
The EWF’s beloved Saints teamed up with rookie Ghost as they beat out the A-List and Terex in an epic battle of good versus evil.  That was until Roger Ruiz turned the tables on Terex and landed his infamous TMZ.  After the A-List finished betraying the former champion, the EWF fans gave them an astounding ovation.

Match #6: Espiritu Infernal DEF Maddix
Size didn’t matter in this match up, because Maddix may have been bigger in size, but it was Infernal’s agility and experience that made his opponent drop like a ton of bricks, and allow him to claim the victory.

Match #7: Mighty Mike Mountain DEF Extreme Loco
Descending from his cave at the rim of the world, Mountain defeated Loco in a high adrenaline match from start to finish.

Match #8: “Handsome” Johnny Starr DEF Ein Idol
No amount of bodyguards could save Idol as he took on the EWF Champion.  But it was Idol’s own sneaky tactics with Bruiser that got the best of him, as they knocked EWF official Justin Borden unconscious.  With the circumstances at hand, EWF owner Jesse Hernandez grabbed a microphone and announced that EWF American Champion “Iron Man” Mike Maze would be officiating the match.  After Maze got into the ring, he threw out Bruiser and rang the bell.  Though a valiant effort was made by Idol, Starr capitalized on his experience and gained the victory.

Match #9: Danny Ghost won the 15-man Battle Royal
Officiated by Jesse Hernandez, 15 competitors, including veterans like Roger Ruiz and Extreme Loco, this match was intense, yet it was the SOHK graduate Ghost who went toe-to-toe with “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger and came out the victor in this over-the-top rope battle royal.

RESULTS-KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL-COVINA
JULY 1, 2011

By: Brandi Mendez, EWF Correspondent

Greetings sports fans. This is the Empire Wrestling Federation’s correspondent, Brandi Mendez, coming to you with the latest EWF results!  At our home arena in Covina’s Knights of Columbus Hall on July 1, EWF kicked off Independence Day weekend with six intense matches.  From high risk and heart-stopping aerial battles, to old favorites returning, EWF set the month of July a blaze with a show not soon to be forgotten.  So, let’s get to the results!

Match #1: Little Friar   DEF Freddy Bravo

The land of liberty’s own Bravo, aggressively took on his rookie opponent.  However, it was the EWF newcomer’s offense and agility that kept his winning streak intact.

Mondo Vega’s Challenge to Mikey Henderson

The self-proclaimed “King of the Streets” Mondo Vega addressed the fans and issued a challenge to former EWF champion Mikey Henderson on July 22, in retribution from the “assault” Vega received at the 15th Anniversary Extravaganza on May 20.  We’ll have to stay tuned to see how this rivalry unfolds.

Match #2: “Raunchy” Rico Dynamite & Robby Phoenix DEF The Bar Room Saints (“The Irish Icon” D.K. Murphy, “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar w/Bonnie Isle)

Phoenix and Dynamite took on the EWF’s beloved saints, who were accompanied by the beautiful Bonnie Isle.  Murphy and Dunbar were at the clear advantage over their opponents until an ambush from equally evil and manipulative Damien Arsenick ran up behind Isle, pulling her by the hair and leading her backstage.  That was enough to distract referee Justin Borden and enabled Dynamite to pin Murphy as his Dunbar went to Isle’s aid. Thus, the newest bad boys in the EWF ruled the match.

Match #3: Shaun Ricker DEF Scorpio Sky

The self-proclaimed “best kept secret in wrestling,” Ricker made it a point to stand out in his match against the sensational Scorpio Sky.  The motive for his statement?  To show the EWF fans and current champion, “Handsome” Johnny Starr that Ricker will be the next to hold the EWF championship belt.  With intensity and aggression, Ricker cleverly reversed Sky’s aerial tactics and was able to pin his rival onto the canvas for the 1-2-3 and claimed the victory.

Match #4: Vizzion DEF Terex via Disqualification

This show saw the return of longtime EWF fan favorite Vizzion.  As the 400lb “Definition of Pain,” Terex was losing his bearings in the match; he resorted into his usual despicable tactics by snatching a bottle of hot sauce from a fan, pouring it into his mouth and shooting the substance straight into Vizzion’s eyes.  Signaling for the bell, the official ruled the match in Vizzion’s favor with a disqualification.

Match #5: “Mega King” Tommy Wilson w/Ashley & Nikki Hollywood DEF Joey Ryan

EWF fans received a special treat with the appearance of fan favorite, Hollywood’s Golden Boy Joey Ryan who took on the Mega King, Wilson.  Before the match Ryan dedicated his predicted win to the newly crowned “Mega Queen” Ashley Hollywood.  It appeared as though his prediction was coming to pass until Hollywood displayed how lethal she can be as she climbed up onto the ring apron, distracting both the referee and Ryan, only for Ryan to turn around and be super kicked by Wilson, thus crowning the “Mega King” as the victor.

Match #6: Los Luchas DEF Fly or Die (Chris Kadillak & Tim Lovato)

In one of the best match-ups in EWF history, the tag team champions Los Luchas defeated the high-flying and amazing duo of Kadillak and Lovato.  This match saw every competitor fly into the air, with many fans flying out of their seats.  Though Los Luchas came up with the three-count, there were no losers at the end of the contest.  The aerial maneuvers and high intensity on the parts of both teams were phenomenal, and made this match definitely one for the books.

Well ladies and gents there you have it, an unforgettable night filled with a variety of exciting matches.  Be sure to check out the EWF as we come out to San Bernardino’s Court Street Square on Saturday July 16 for more wrestling action.  This is Brandi Mendez signing off saying I’ll see you next time,  inside the ropes!

July 3, 2011

There may be a few of our own who may not agree with me but I am so  proud of the direction we are headed here at the EWF and we are only going to get better yet. We have such great talent. It's always been there. We are giving wrestlers an opportunity to show us what they have. Either they will succeed or they won't, but at least they will be given a chance no matter what we may think about them. No matter if we believe in them or not. An opportunity is given to them. The future as I  have always said, is not in the hands of the promoter, or the booker. The future is in their own hands. It's their work that will bring them success.

We had an amazing show on July 1st at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Covina. An amazing group of wrestlers was picked to guarantee a great attendance since some of our main event wrestlers were unable to attend  due to some prior scheduling commitments. I believe everything happens for a reason. It gave us the opportunity to bring back my former student Joey Ryan who I must say had a great match against Tommy Wilson. We also had room for Tim Lovato and Chris Kadillak who wrestled Los Luchas. and it was an awesome match!! Everyone who wrestled that night did extremely well and I am very proud of each individual.

It does make me somewhat sad to say, however, that there are a few people who don't see things our way. Opinions of course are just that - they are opinions and everyone is entitled to their own. I will always remember The Great Goliath's words and I quote "When you don't like what goes on, move on quietly and never do it in a way that you insult anyone as you always want to keep your door open". EWF has been around for fifteen years and even after I am gone I would hope that those who believe in this promotion will keep it alive for many more years to come. I believe in my key people, and will continue to do so until they can't give me their best. "Their best to me and our fans that is most important". It is more then one person I am thinking about that brings me to this Jesse's thoughts as there are many who are around us who would like to see me fail. It's not going to happen because when I receive negative feelings it makes me work harder. For those who believe in me, and or us as a group, I would like to thank you for hanging in there and together we will continue to make an impact. Respect towards each other is worth its weight in gold. That along with humbleness will go a long way.

Josh and the girls are back at you this week gearing up for live EWF action on Friday July 1st!

By Brandi Mendez
EWF Correspondent

Welcome back wrestling fans as we here at the Empire Wrestling Federation bring you a re-cap of yet another action-packed weekend in our home arena in Covina and Court St.  So, let’s get to the results!

Match #1: Little Friar DEF Ray Rosas

The rookie Little Friar took on the newly aggressive Rosas, with steam following from his win against fellow newcomer Maddix at the June 4th American Sports University show.  Though Rosas showed no mercy to his masked competitor, it was Friar’s aerial style from the top rope and onto Rosas’ ribs, as he captured the pin.

Match #2: Shaun Ricker DEF “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar (w/Bonnie Isle) in a
#1 Contenders Match for the EWF Championship

One half of the NWA Heritage Tag Team Champions, Shaun Ricker took on the EWF fan favorite Dunbar in a #1 Contenders match to settle the score from the double elimination that occurred during the EWF 15th Anniversary Great Goliath Royal Royal.  Both wrestlers brought every bit of energy and intensity in this epic match, but it was the power and aggressiveness of Ricker that gave him the advantage and gave him the victory over Dunbar.

Match#3: “Iron Man” Mike Maze DEF Flecha Fugaz for the EWF American Championship

“Iron Man” Mike Maze successfully retained his EWF American Championship against Mexico City native, Fugaz.  Throughout the intense match, both competitors pushed one another to the limit.  It looked as though Maze was going to succumb to his opponent’s punishment when he turned the tables, and with his usual top-rope flying elbow, landed on Fugaz and landed the three-count.

Match #4: The A-List (“Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger & “The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz) DEF Willie Mack & Mercurio Jr.

The A-listers came out and graced the EWF fans with their presence as they took on the high-flying and unlikely duo Willie Mack and Mercurio Jr.  This match in particular was injected with high octane from start to finish, and even though Mack and Mercurio put on a great effort, it was the A-List training and schemes that only Ruiz and Jaeger could pull off as they went to the air and landed their opponents onto the canvas, securing the victory.

 Mega King’s hit List:

Brandon Gatson
Gatson’s vest
Scorpio Sky
Sky’s Robe

Match #5: “Mega King” Tommy Wilson DEF Scorpio Sky

Wilson’s list of victims and souvenirs on his hit list has increased by one, as he took out Brandon Gatson at the EWF 15TH Anniversary Extravaganza, and this time set his sights for longtime EWF fan favorite.  Sky put up a valiant effort as he took on the monstrous king, but it was not good enough as he too, fell to the power of Wilson in his reign of destruction.

Match #6: The Midnight Cowboy, “Handsome” Johnny Starr DEF Rico Dynamite for the EWF Championship

The “Handsome” EWF Champion Starr took on his “Raunchy” adversary in an intense battle that left Dynamite empty-handed and openly angry as the current and reigning champion successfully defended his title.

RESULTS-COURT ST-SAN BERNARDINO

June 11, 2011

Match #1: Valiant DEF  “The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz

EWF Rookie Valiant took on Ruiz in a rigorous match that left the A-lister reeling back from Spain’s golden boy, when he captured the one, two, three.

Match #2: Dave the Bruiser DEF Red Thunder

Dave put a bruising onto Red Thunder, as he was victorious in his fete against the high-flyer.

Match #3: Ein Idol (w/Dave the Bruiser) DEF Stryder

Bruiser returned with his Hollywood underground pri-madonna Idol as he took on and beat the dark and flamboyant EWF newcomer.

Match #4: Jarek Matthews DEF Maddix

Maddix started out the match with brutal force and aggression, but it was the veteran technique and “best leg drop ever” that turned the match around and won it for Matthews.

Match #5: Terex, Izzy Wyze & Ashley Hollywood (w/Nikki Hollywood) DEF The Bar Room Saints & Bonnie Isle via DQ

In the EWF debut for Hollywood and Isle, the mixed tag team match was one full of schemes and tricks on behalf of Terex, Wyze and Hollywood.  It was those tricks of using the ropes to their advantage behind the official’s back, and making sure that a “valid disqualification” could be seen against Ashley Hollywood on behalf of the Saints that ultimately won them the match.  Though the ladies had an intense and noteworthy cat fight between them, I guess if you ain’t cheatin’ you ain’t tryin’.

Match #6: “Iron Man” Mike Maze DEF Mighty Mike Mountain for the EWF American Championship

The EWF American Champion Maze successfully defended his title as Mountain descended from his cave at the rim of the world and put him through torturous physical punishment.  Mountain was fierce and merciless, as he took on the EWF fan favorite for the coveted title.  However, just when he turned his back on Maze is when Mountain was blindsided to the canvas with his shoulders pinned for the three-count, in favor of EWF’s “Iron Man.”

Match #7: Eddie Mattson DEF Transformer Boy

“The Rattle from Seattle” defeated the EWF newcomer with an aggression that is becoming more prominent sour attitude and smell that he exhumes from the ring.  Though the rookie put up his best efforts, it was the veteran Mattson’s sneaky and snake-like ways that got the superiority in the match as he captured the victory.

Match #8: The Midnight Cowboy “Handsome” Johnny Starr DEF “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger for the EWF Championship

Equipped with his own toy championship belt, “Top Shelf” took on the Midnight Cowboy for his own 15lbs of gold to add to his collection.  Though Jaeger’s bets usually run all sevens when it comes to schemes and wit, Starr was always two steps ahead of him when the "handsome" cowboy's power forced his A-list opponent for a movie finish in his favor.

There you have it ladies and gents, once again the EWF wrestlers don’t disappoint when the lights are on bright and the stakes are even higher.  Make sure to check us out on July 1, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Covina in what is sure to be a night for the history books.  Until then, I, Brandi Mendez am signing off, see you inside the ropes!

RESULTS-AMERICAN SPORTS UNIVERSITY- SAN BERNARDINO

JUNE 4, 2011

By Brandi Mendez

EWF Correspondent

Hey Hey sports fans!  The one and only Brandi Mendez coming at you with this past weekend’s Empire Wrestling Federation results from our non-stop and action packed night of wrestling at the School of Hard Knocks’ home, the American Sports University in San Bernardino.

 Match #1: Mercurio DEF. Stryder

Fun and games were at work, as Olympia’s own Mercurio played with the EWF rookie Stryder.  Though the dark, flamboyant wrestler put up his best efforts, it was Stryder’s masked adversary who gained the victory with his thunder shock, and the three count.

Match #2: Little Friar DEF Maddix

Looks were quite deceiving, as the little friar took on his monstrous opponent in an intense “David vs. Goliath” type battle.  Though Maddix thought his size would defeat his competitor, it was his ego that enabled him to lose his grip in the ring and be defeated by his tiny opponent.

Match #3: Mighty Mike Mountain DEF Transformer Boy

Mountain showed no mercy to the EWF rookie Transformer Boy as he left him in a pile of rubble after a devastating power bomb to capture the pin.

Match #4: “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger DEF Valiant

Jaeger took on Spain’s favorite son in a high-flying, intense match that left both competitors spent.  But, it was Jaeger’s experience and clever offensive mind games that did the trick against the EWF newcomer, allowing him to put another victory on his “top shelf.”

Match #5: “Project 56” Joshua Dunbar w/Bonnie Isle DEF “The Rattle from Seattle” Eddie Mattson

One half of the loved Bar Room Saints, Dunbar, accompanied by the beautiful Bonnie Isle defeated Mattson with an incredible power and intensity that left the rattler slithering out of the ring and out of the way of his brawling opponent.

Match #6: “Handsome” Johnny Starr, “Iron Man” Mike Maze & The Mexican Warrior DEF. Izzy Wise, Ray Rosas & Flecha Fugaz in a six-man tag team match

Aggression was at an all time high between the six rivals, but it was the team headed up by the new EWF Champion, “Handsome” Johnny Starr and new EWF American Champion, “Iron Man” Mike Maze that cleaned house and won the match, with the EWF fans going crazy.

There you have it ladies and gents, another night of intense action that will soon not be forgotten.  Be sure to check us out at our home arena in Covina, at the Knights of Columbus this Friday, June 10 for more EWF action.  Until then, I Brandi Mendez am signing off, see you inside the ropes!
