Jesse’s Thoughts – September 16, 2012

I have been a professional wrestler since January 25th 1981 Started training since 1979 I booked for various promotions since since 1984 promoted my own events since 1988 Started the Empire Wrestling Federation in 1996 Have trained many individuals that I have been very proud of. Last night with so many things going on in San Bernardino such as Route 66 Big fight Chaves Jr vs Martinez on TV We took a chance running at our new EWF/School of Hard Knocks home @ 293 E Redlands Blvd. in San Bernardino, Ca. We succeeded with an awesome crowd. We also took a chance on the debut of two young wrestlers Uptown Andy Brown and LionHeart. I was so proud of them as they performed without a doubt like like two real pro’s and you would have never believed it to have been their first match in front of a crowd.

To add icing to the cake Brute Barreto who has been wrestling for a while but had not made an impact the way I thought he should of when he started totally surprised me and everyone else as he came out like monster heel attacking “Ironman” Mike Maze. It was an unbelievable night where young talent made a difference and stepped it up to entertain our fans like there was no tomorrow.. Quick rundown of card since I am on a roll here – Maddix defeated Sheeqo on the first match of the night. Great opener with our fans giving Sheeqo a tremendous chant. Second match Tarasso defeating Uptown Andy Brown on Brown’s debut match. Third Match Sugar Sweet was defeated by Lionheart . Match Four Brute Barreto was defeated by “Ironman” Mike Maze. Match Five Flecha Fugaz on a Super Lucha Match defeated The Mexican Warrior. Match Six Bar Room Saints defeated La Familia to end an exciting night of Great Wrestling Action.

Thank you everyone of you that participated last night from announcer referee commentating team and everyone else who worked on this event, including students that helped out with set up and clean up. Photographers and many others. It certainly made for an incredible night. Special thanks to Jake Alexander for guiding the EWF through various storms and believing in the EWF and it’s talent entertaining me and our fans just the way we want to be entertained. With wrestling the way it ought to be. The Way that it should be! I also would like to thank Puni and his wife for opening up their Gym not only to run our EWF events out of, but to run our Professional Wrestling School out of as well, making us feel right at home. I’m so proud of our accomplishments. Sometimes we look elsewhere for friends and friendship but our true friends who truly believe in us and our product have always been here right at home. THANK YOU ALL!
