August 31, 2010

August has been a very busy month and another busy month is coming up in September as well. The goal I have with the School of Hard Knocks/Empire Wrestling Federation  is incredible. The purpose of our existence  is  getting our students and talent the proper training and exposure to reach their expectations and most importantly to perform in an environment to make their dreams a reality. Training and being active makes better wrestlers out of our students. It also gets them ready for the right opportunities to be able to expand. The relationship that I have with many promoters throughout the USA and Mexico allows me to open doors to those that deserve the opportunities to expand their career. My open door policy with major promotions including WWE have allowed me to be able to give even those that are not my students including those that are established wrestlers throughout the USA Canada and Mexico an opportunity for tryouts where they have that one opportunity to show their skills and reach the highest level of their career.

On another note. There are many individuals who get involved in promoting who think they can take advantage of us. I highly recommend that contract agreements be made to prevent those type of racketeers in taking advantage of us. We have been taken advantage too may times and even those you think you can trust will screw you. Ring rentals, along with talent should be protected. Enough is enough. Let's listen to or instincts. What makes these so called people think they can get away with this?

FROM THE DESK OF COMMISSIONER FRANK MOTT

FROM THE DESK OF FRANK MOTT
Greetings EWF Aficionados!

I hope that everyone is doing well and surviving the heat. The Superstars of Summer Tour is coming to a close after a great run., but the action isn’t going to stop there as we are rolling strong into the fall with big things on the schedule.

Due to some family commitments I was not able to attend our last event in Covina, CA. But thanks to our wonderful recording staff I have seen the footage. Let me say like always our boys put on one heck of a spectacle! Although there is one thing that left a bad taste in my mouth which I would like to address now, and that is this issue between Chris Kadillak and Liger Rivera.

As you can see I have signed a match for the EWF American Championship between the two on September 3rd in Covina, CA. The history between these two is public knowledge. Four months ago I could never have imagined signing this match but since then they’ve gone from being best friends to heated rivals.  Each time they step into the ring something happens that keeps this thing going between the two.

At our last Covina event Chris took it upon himself to challenge Liger to an impromptu match. When Liger wouldn’t answer his call he grabbed a chair and held up the show in the center of the ring. That just isn’t something that you do in the EWF. You want to make a challenge? Give me a call and I can see if it’s a possibility.

What Chris did was wrong but that is nothing compared to The A List coming out and attempting to jump him.  Liger would have been best off staying away. Make no mistake about it I am upset at these two, but that doesn’t stop me from seeing that this is a match that our fans want to see.

So with that being said we are going to give the fans their money’s worth. These two are going to go at it with no distractions. When I was a younger my Dad would give me a major whooping each time I didn't fallow the rule book. If there is any interference on behalf of either man there will be some serious consequences. I've grown up to be just like my Dad so if just in case you don’t believe me, I happily invite you to test me.

Until next time!
Frank Mott

EWF-ACW DELAYED COMING TO CHARTER TV 31
but on the internet shortly!

We are sorry to have to announce a delay in the start date of the new ACW TV show which will feature matches from EWF, So Cal Pro, New Wave and the West Coast Wrestling Connection up in Oregon. Look for the first show to hit the airwaves on Thursday nights beginning this month.  BUT, you will be able to see us on the internet very soon! A link to the show/matches will be on this site shortly.. Though the wonders of modern technology are often great, they can also cause producers lots of nightmares and that is, unfortunately, the case here. We do apologize for the delays we have incurred but want to make sure we give you, the fans, a quality TV show. Many of the matches were filmed right here at the Knights of Columbus Lodge in Covina, so who knows, you might even see yourself on television as well! And coming soon many more matches will be available on the internet. The EWF is growing and with more media outlets, we will be nearly everywhere.
