EWF Battle at the Brewhouse Results
By David John
This past Saturday night, the Empire Wrestling Federation returned to the Alosta Brewing Company for another unforgettable Battle at the Brewhouse event. With every match sanctioned by EWF Commissioner Jack Fancy, the night was filled with hard-hitting action, shocking decisions, and a dominant champion standing tall at the end.
Gustavo Perez Kicks Off the Night with a Win
The evening’s first contest saw Gustavo Perez pick up another impressive victory, this time over Zuke in his EWF debut. Zuke entered looking to make an impact, but the world-famous soccer star was one step ahead, using his signature speed and precision to secure the win in convincing fashion.
Jack Fancy’s Captain’s Corner Brings the Fire
EWF Commissioner Jack Fancy wasted no time making his presence felt, hosting a special edition of Captain’s Corner. His guest? The Master, the deranged leader of Delirium. The two men went back and forth, each trying to gain the upper hand, but one thing was clear—Fancy means business. There’s a new sheriff in town, and he’s ready to lay down the law in EWF.
Big Bull Retains the EWF American Championship
All Guts Eddie Ruiz talked a big game before stepping into the ring with the reigning EWF American Champion, Big Bull. He even claimed he was going to drain the Bull’s lavender bubble bath, but when the bell rang, the champ let his power do the talking.
With a massive spear, Big Bull shut down Eddie’s challenge. But the celebrations won’t last long. At the EWF’s next event, he finally faces Mexi-Macho #1 in a match that has been scheduled multiple times but never happened. Has Bull been avoiding this fight? That answer comes soon.
T Dub Soars to Victory Over The Breeze
T Dub had the crowd rocking at Alosta Brewing, picking up a huge win over The Breeze. The finishing touch? A perfectly executed Frog Splash from the top rope to secure the victory.
But T Dub won’t have much time to celebrate. Next, he faces Gustavo Perez in a battle of two competitors riding hot streaks. Will T Dub keep the momentum going, or will Perez prove that his winning ways are no fluke?
Absolute Chaos: Firebird & iRod vs. Delirium
The semi-main event saw EWF Tag Team Champions Firebird and iRod put their gold on the line against Delirium—the dangerous duo of Slade and McCallion, under the command of The Master.
Many had doubted Firebird and iRod, believing their shock victory over The Heartless Kings months ago was a fluke. Meanwhile, Delirium, once known as Beef Candy, had transformed into something far more dangerous.
The match was an all-out war, and in the end, Delirium captured the EWF Tag Team Titles… but they weren’t done. Instead of celebrating, they continued the assault on the fallen champions, with Slade dropping an elbow from the apron onto iRod, who was laid out across the front row.
That’s when Jack Fancy stepped in. He threatened fines and suspensions, but Delirium didn’t care. So Fancy made the shocking call—Delirium has been stripped of the titles. Firebird and iRod remain the EWF Tag Team Champions, but after the beating they suffered, are they ready to defend those titles again?
Before they can think about another defense, iRod will first get his chance at revenge when he steps into the ring one-on-one with Slade.
Badwolf Retains in Dominant Fashion
In the main event, EWF Champion Michael Badwolf put his title on the line against Miguelito El Muertito. But the challenger never stood a chance—Badwolf wasted no time, hitting a devastating Full Nelson Slam to secure a dominant victory.
Now, Badwolf waits for his next challenger, who will be determined in The Great Goliath Over-the-Top Rope Rumble. Wrestlers enter every 90 seconds, and survival is the only option. The winner earns a shot at the EWF Championship at the 29th ANNIVERSARY EXTRAVAGANZA in May. But before that, Badwolf must first defend his championship against Tariq Tavos in Banning. Will Badwolf make it to the Anniversary Extravaganza still holding the gold? Tavos is a beast!
