We are seeking a steadfast and charismatic Commissioner to enforce the rules, resolve conflicts, and engage with fans while ensuring that the high standards of EWF events are upheld. The Commissioner will serve as the authority figure both in and out of the ring, maintaining fairness and ensuring that every event delivers unforgettable entertainment for fans of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Rule Enforcement:
– Oversee all matches to ensure competitors adhere to the EWF Rulebook and uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship.
– Impose disciplinary actions, including fines, suspensions, or match rulings, to address violations and protect the integrity of the sport.
Event Oversight:
– Approve and sanction all matchups, ensuring alignment with championship goals and competitive fairness.
– Intervene when necessary to maintain order, settle disputes, or address safety concerns during events.
Fan Engagement:
– Serve as the face of authority for the EWF, making announcements, rulings, and special match stipulations that keep fans invested in the action.
– Interact with the audience at live events and through media appearances to promote EWF as a premier destination for family entertainment.
– Address fan concerns and feedback, ensuring the EWF experience remains engaging and enjoyable for all attendees.
Conflict Resolution:
– Act as the arbiter for disputes between wrestlers, referees, and officials, ensuring all issues are resolved in a decisive and unbiased manner.
– Protect the credibility of championships and the fairness of competition through clear and decisive rulings.
Promotion of Family Entertainment:
– Advocate for the EWF’s mission to provide thrilling, family-friendly events that inspire and entertain audiences of all ages.
– Ensure the presentation of matches and promotional activities align with EWF’s commitment to wholesome and inclusive entertainment.
Safety and Talent Oversight:
– Monitor athlete safety and enforce EWF protocols to prevent injury and ensure the well-being of all competitors.
– Identify and nurture up-and-coming talent, ensuring they align with the values and traditions of EWF.
Qualifications:
– A strong understanding of professional wrestling’s traditions, rules, and appeal to fans of all ages.
– Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to make firm, fair decisions under pressure.
– Outstanding public speaking abilities to engage with live audiences and deliver impactful announcements.
– A passion for engaging with fans and upholding the integrity of the sport while enhancing the entertainment experience.
– Previous experience in a leadership or regulatory role is an advantage but not required.

The Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF), Southern California’s premier pro wrestling organization, is looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our volunteer team. If stepping into the ring isn’t for you, this is your chance to be part of the action behind the scenes, learn the ropes, and become part of the EWF family.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Setup and Breakdown:
– Assist with setting up and tearing down the wrestling ring, seating, and other event equipment.
– Help ensure that the venue is ready for fans and talent.
Event Operations:
– Provide general support during events, including managing equipment, assisting talent, and helping with crowd control if necessary.
Promotional Support:
– Help distribute flyers and promotional materials in the community to build excitement for upcoming events.
Media and Video Work:
– Assist with filming matches, interviews, and event highlights.
– Provide general support to the media team with equipment setup and breakdown.
General Support:
– Jump in wherever needed to make each event a success, embodying the EWF spirit of dedication and teamwork.
Requirements:
– Passion for professional wrestling and a strong desire to learn the business.
– Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
– Ability to lift and carry equipment, including ring pieces and chairs, as part of event setup and breakdown.
– Positive attitude and the ability to work well with a team.
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
