EWF RESULTS – FEB. 11th – LAKE ELSINORE

On February 12, 2012, in Event Results, by Wade Needham

Welcome back wrestling fans! Empire Wrestling Federation correspondent, Brandi Mendez
coming back to bring the latest results from EWF’s successful debut event at the Trevi Events
Center, in Lake Elsinore on Feb. 11th. So let’s get to them!

Match #1: Killa Gorilla DEF Mexican Warrior

EWF newcomer Killa Gorilla entered ringside and issued a 5-minute, $500 Challenge to anyone
on the roster who can handle five minutes of action with him. The challenger doesn’t need to
pin or make Gorilla submit in order to win the prize; they only have to last the five minute time
limit. Well, as we can all presume, that mission is quite easier said than done. EWF’s beloved
Mexican Warrior accepted the challenge to face Gorilla, only to be defeated with the Gorilla
Slam at the 4:15 mark.

Match #2: “Iron Man” Mike Maze DEF Sugar Sweetz to retain the EWF
American Championship.

American Champion Maze squared off with newcomer Sweetz in an intense battle that left the
EWF crowd in suspense as Maze was brutally punished by his opponent. When it seemed as
though Sugar Sweetz would be victorious, the “Iron Man” fought back, and with one flying
elbow off the top rope, he pinned his opponent and retained the American Championship.

Match #3: Terra Calaway DEF Yyan Nakano

In this ladies’ match, both wrestlers took each other to their physical limits. Although Nakano
was merciless towards her adversary, it was Calaway’s TLC that won her the advantage over
Yyan, and the three-count.

Match #4: Dave the Bruiser DEF Red Thunder

Accompanied once to the ring by the lethal Crystal Michelle, Bruiser’s “Stomach of Steel” was
showcased best when Red Thunder’s aerial maneuvering and offense was no good towards his
opponent. With one fell swoop and a devastating spear, Bruiser blindsided Red Thunder and
won the match.

Match #5: “The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz DEF SoCal Crazy

EWF Tag Team Champion Ruiz took on EWF favorite SoCal Crazy in an action-packed battle
that was definitely one for the EWF history books. Both competitors rose to the rare occasion
by stepping up their offense and aerial maneuvering. Ruiz, accompanied by his tag partner,
EWF Tag Team Champion “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger took on Crazy with every bit of his swift
offense and with a little help from Jaeger and his TMZ, Ruiz won the advantage and pin over
Crazy.

Match #6: “The Certified Tough Guy” Brandon Gatson & “Mega King” Tommy
Wilson DEF The Bar Room Saints (“Project 56” Josh Dunbar & “The Irish
Icon” D.K. Murphy)

Brandon Gatson and Tommy Wilson seemed to be getting along famously as a new tag team,
when they took on the beloved Bar Room Saints in an aggressive match. Dunbar and Murphy
took on their merciless opponents with the best skills they had, however it was Gatson and
Wilson’s Demolition of Doom that won them the match.

Match #7: “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr DEF The
400lb. “Definition of Pain” Terex to retain the EWF Championship.

In his EWF return, the 400lb. “Definition of Pain” Terex came back to take on his former
manager, current EWF Champion Johnny Starr in their highly intense match that had both
wrestlers punishing one another in and outside of the ring. Terex put his former friend through
a treacherous and immense amount of torture as he fought to put EWF Champion in his list
of achievements. However, it was Starr’s unmistakable fast-acting as he fought back Terex’s
punishment and usually devastating back flip, when he gained the advantage over his adversary
and retained the EWF Championship.

Well there you have it fans, another successful showcase in a new arena. EWF thanks everyone
