10-Bell Salute in Memory of: Miguel Alonzo, Woody Farmer and Chief Jay Strongbow.   The entire EWF roster came to ringside in honor of the three veterans, who passed away recently.

Before the first match commenced, “Power Agent” Christian Cole to promote “The Experience” and his biggest client, NWA TV International Champion, Scorpio Sky.  When Sky met his agent inside the ring, he proceeded to call out and challenge EWF Champion, “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr to a championship match.  Starr soon emerged from the curtain and confronted his adversaries.  In no time flat, a scuffle ensued between Starr and Sky.  Cole and his client soon fled ringside, vowing that Starr would be 15lbs lighter by the end of the night.

Match #1: “IronMan” Mike Maze DEF Stryder

Former EWF American Champion, “IronMan” Mike Maze took on Stryder in an intense bout.  Taking advantage of a compromised knee Stryder served EWF’s beloved “IronMan” a brutal beating.  However, it was Maze’s veteran offense that won him the advantage when Stryder’s back was turned.  He debilitated his rookie opponent and with one flying elbow, secured the pin.

Match #2: Nikki Hollywood DEF “Mega Queen” Ashley Hollywood

Sibling rivalry was in the air as the Hollywood sisters brutally took on one another.  Even with her conniving husband, new EWF American Champion, “Mega King” Tommy Wilson in her corner, Ashley couldn’t shake her sister’s rage.  While battling back and forth, Nikki turned the tables of the match in her favor for good as she put her Ashley down onto the canvas with a waist-scissors face plant, and pinned the royal queen.

Match #3: Red Thunder DEF Sugar Sweet

When Sweet went to take on his original opponent, “Project 56” Josh Dunbar, Killa Gorilla had other plans.  Gorilla emerged from the back with non other than “Power Agent” Christian Cole, and ambushed the Bar Room Saint from behind.  As the heinous assault ;continued, Cole said that no one rejects his offers for “greatness” and that Gorilla would be back.  OK, so once things settled, Sweet thought he was off the hook with a 10-count out, in his favor.  However, Deputy Commissioner Marty Elias announced that Red Thunder would replace Dunbar as Sweet’s new opponent.  Red Thunder took on the EWF rookie without gear on and beat Sugar in no time flat, as he rolled Sweet with a surprise roll-up and captured the victory.

Match #4: “Mega King” Tommy Wilson DEF Vintage Dragon for the EWF American Championship

Wilson took on Dragon with an incredible intensity that couldn’t be stopped.  Even when Dragon seemed to be winning the upper-hand in the competition, the Mega King fought back and landed his “Mega Kick,” winning the match and retaining the EWF American Championship.  As soon as the bell rang, “IronMan” Mike Maze stormed the ring, challenged the King for a rematch on Apr. 14th’s Fight Against Bullying benefit, and vowed to become the American EWF Championship, once again.

Match #5: The A-List (“The Overnight Celebrity” Roger Ruiz, “Top Shelf” Jeremy Jaeger w/Liger Rivera) DEF The Hollywood Underground (Dave the Bruiser, Ein Idol & Crystal Michelle) to retain the EWF Tag Team Championships

The tag team champions took on the Hollywood Underground in a match filled with intensity and brutal animosity.  The match seemed to be in the Hollywood Underground’s favor until Jaeger turned the tables and made the tag to Ruiz.  Ruiz applied the sharpshooter to Idol when Bruiser came in and broke the submission maneuver.  Idol was left at the hands of the champions.  Ruiz proceeded to finish him off with the TMZ and retained the championships.

Match #6: “The Midnight Cowboy, Handsome” Johnny Starr  and Scorpio Sky ended due to outside interference

In this intense match, Sky and Starr took EWF Championship.  However, when Starr appeared to be losing his grip, as the “Ace of Spades” at the hands of Sky, Brandon Gatson stormed the ring and attacked the EWF Champion.  Already being suspended, Marty Elias fired the EWF veteran, only to reinstate him minutes later and scheduled a People’s Choice Match for the Anniversary Show on May 4.  Let us wait and see what happens as this vicious rivalry finally comes to a head.

There you have it, ladies and gents another jam-packed show filled with intense matches, all to support a spectacular cause.
